MICHAEL Hu Mancao and Audrey Christley topped their respective divisions in Run Saipan’s 2nd Marpi Drag Race on Saturday morning in Marpi.
Mancao, a veteran runner, showed that he’s still got what it takes by placing first in the male division of the 5K event.
The flat course and a perfect weather worked in Mancao’s favor as he clocked 22’17. In second place was barefoot runner Chong Nam Lee whose finish time was 22’38.
The rest of the top five were Ronald Villafria, 23’23; Changwhan Jang, 26’01; and Edgar Abalos, 28’22.
Female division
Coming in fourth overall and first in the female division was Audrey Christley who clocked 23’50.
Rosemarie Chisato was second with a time of 26’40; Ann Bang was third, 27’48; Jessica Oritizo was fourth, 28’03; and Kathy Ruzsala was fifth, 28’52.
A total of 21 runners participated in the second annual Marpi Drag Race.
