NIRAMAI Kobel ruled the CNMI Women’s Golf Association February tournament at the Laolao Golf & Resort east course on Saturday.
Kobel cleared the front nine with a gross of 38 which was the best score of the day. In the transition to the back nine, however, she failed to keep her swing in check as she ended with a gross of 46 for a total gross score of 84. With a handicap of 10, her net score was 74 which was good enough for first place.
Coming in second was Sherlyn Jones who maintained a steady pace by shooting 40 on the front nine and 47 on the back nine for a total gross of 87. Aided by a handicap of 12, she ended the tournament with a net score of 75.
In third place was Yuko Togawa who shot 39 and 42 for a combined gross of 81. With a 5 handicap, her net score was 76.
