Oleai Smokerz slip past 6JMS Seikid B in darts match

THE Oleai Smokerz are still the #1 team in the Flame Tree Thursday B Division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light League after outlasting 6JMS Seikid B, 8-7, at the 6JMS Sports Bar.

It was a tight game with neither team able to gain the edge throughout most of the match.

The Smokerz were the first to gain the lead with Greg “Last Dart” Tebit and John Babauta bagging the first two rounds of the opening 301 Double In/Double Out match.

Seikid B’s Henry Sablan and Jordan Hayes then grabbed the remaining two rounds to even the score 2-2.

In the partners matches, the Smokerz tried to stay ahead but Seikid B continued to shadow them by splitting the Partners Crazy Cricket and Partners 501 Double In/Double Out rounds to tie the score, 4-4.

In the final Team 1101 match, the Smokerz’s Bobby Castro, Leon Laniyo, Tebit and Babauta joined hands to claim the game-winning point and secure victory, 8-7.

Jonny’s Kingz vs Jonny’s Ridin’ Darrty

Jonny’s Kingz joined the winner’s circle after dominating Jonny’s Ridin’ Darrty 11-4.

Right from the start, the Kingz established control with Jordan Mendiola, Darwin Sablan and AJ Deleon Guerrero pulling a 3-1 run in the opening round.

Ridin’ Darrty tried to stay alive with Joey “The Pimp” Pangelinan and Manny “Maneto” Ada splitting the Partners Crazy Cricket match, but the Kingz managed to shake them off in the Partners 501 Double In/Double Out round with a two-win sweep to stretch the gap 7-2.

Ridin’ Darrty could only put a dent on the Kingz’s output in the next two rounds before bowing to the inevitable 4-11 loss.
