RUN Saipan’s Dash and Splash 5K run will not be held this month due to the recent Covid-19 community transmission.
Ron Snyder, Run Saipan’s secretary/treasurer, said out of an abundance of caution, their group is canceling the event which was supposed to be held at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
Run Saipan’s board, he said, is considering an alternative, perhaps a virtual 5K run.
“Run Saipan is a non-profit running club, dedicated to promoting running events and general cardiovascular health in the CNMI,” he added. “The club sponsors a monthly 5K event in addition to other distances and races throughout the year. Stay Safe CNMI.”
