SAE Hee Kim ruled the CNMI Women’s Golf Association March golf tournament on Saturday at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort west course.
Kim led on the front nine along with Niramai Korbel, both sharing a gross score of 41.
On the back nine, the sun and fair winds complemented Kim’s ball placements and well-executed putts as she notched a gross score of 39 to remain ahead of the competition with a gross total of 80. With a handicap of 15, Kim’s net score was 65.
Niramai, who matched Kim’s output on the front nine, completed the back nine with a gross of 42 for a total gross score of 83. With a handicap of 14, her net score was 69 which was good enough for second place.
In third was Yuko Togawa, who shot a gross of 43 on the front nine and an impressive 38 on the back nine for a gross total of 81. Her nine handicap of nine gave her a net score of 72.
