SEVERAL players were recognized for their stellar performances in the 2022 SEDA Bud Light Dart League season during an awards banquet Sunday at the Saipan World Resort Taga Hall.
Starting with the best of the best, eight individuals took to the stage to receive their Most Valuable Player awards.
In the C Division, it was Toto Aureo who claimed the title with a winning percentage of 96.2% while in the Inter-Government Division, Dexter “No Flex” Rabauliman was supreme with 96.3%.
The other MVPs were:
• Nestor Abing, A+ Division 97.1%;
• Patrick Cruz, Tuesday B Division, 99.1%;
• Tanner Maratita, Flame Tree B Division, 99.1%;
• Sam “Tulu” Litulumar, Fanihi B Division, 99.3%;
• Undefeated Darion “Ice Box” Jones, A Division, 100%; and
• Frances Magofna, also undefeated, Ladies Division, 100%.
Receiving the Hi-In awards were Frances Magofna who claimed the title in the Ladies Division by throwing 160; Darion Jones, A Division, 170; Ezra Helgens, Latte Stone B Division, 160; Major Jones, C Division, 160; Nestor Abing, A+ Division,160; Pete “Pistol” Lizama, Flame Tree B Division, 170; Jeremy Lizama, Fanihi B Division, 170; and Dexter Rabauliman, Inter-Government Division, 170.
The Hi-Out awardees are Jamie Hayes who ruled the Ladies Division by throwing 76; Nestor Abing, A Division, 150; Jose Kumoi, Latte Stone B Division, 160; Rodrigo Ada, C Division, 153; Pam Ibanez, A+ Division, 135; Russ Cruz, Fanihi B Division, 160; and Dexter Rabauliman, Inter-Government Division,167.
As for the Top Gun awardees, they are Frances Magofna in the Ladies Division; Juliano “Show Me” Matsutaro, A Division; Garnett “Lights Out” Martin, Latte Stone B Division; James “Chief Kang” Welly, C Division; Burth “Imported” Dacumos, A+ Division; Jose Kumoi, Fanihi B Division; and Juliano Matsutaro, Inter-Government Division.
The Mr. and Ms. SEDA awards went to the players who never missed a game during the season. Russ “Mr. Pogi” Cruz and Henry “Savage” Sablan shared the Mr. SEDA Award while Frances Magofna was named the Ms. SEDA awardee.
A plaque of appreciation was also handed to the league’s main sponsor Marpac.
