Peleliu scored two runs but Ngaraard notched seven runs in the top of the second and three more in the top of the third to extend the deficit.
It was not until the bottom of the third inning that Peleliu gained some momentum thanks to Cartfield Sablan’s three-run homer and John’s RBI single to somewhat close the gap, 6-17.
Peleliu tried to keep the fire burning as they held Ngaraard down defensively while adding four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
But Ngaraard tightened its defense, allowing only one run while Lefty Shiro recorded a grandslam in the fifth inning to end the game with a bang, 22-11.
