SYL Ada topped the two-day Amigos Golf Club’s February Ace of the Month tournament at the Kingfisher Golf Links.
On the first day of the competition, March 6, Ada cleared the qualifying round with a gross score of 84. With a handicap of 15, his net score was 69.
During the Ace round held on March 20, Ada tweaked his swing and slightly improved his overall output as he shot a gross score of 79. His 15 handicap gave him a net score of 64 and a total net score of 133 which earned him the February Ace title.
Second place was determined by a score card playoff between Dung Tenorio and Alfred Aldan Jr. as they shared the same net total of 139.
Tenorio finished second by scoring a gross of 77 in the qualifying round and 72 in the ace round.
In the side events, four players bagged the Closest to the Pin Award: Fred Salavaria reigned on hole #6; Darrion Jones, hole #8; Dung Tenorio, hole #12; and Joe Sablan Jr., hole #15. Each player won $160.
The Amigos would also like to extend their sincere appreciation to the management and staff of Kingfisher Golf Course for sponsoring two holes and the 1st and 2nd places by providing game certificates.
