Triple J is silver sponsor of 2022 Pacific Mini Games

TRIPLE J Group of Companies became a silver sponsor of the 2022 Pacific Mini Games after donating $30,000 to its organizing committee Thursday at Surf Rider Hotel.

The organizing committee led by CEO Ben Babauta  received the donation from Triple J President & COO Jeff Jones.

“On behalf of chairman [Marco Peter] and the games organizing committee, we would like to thank Triple J and its group of companies for their supportive and outstanding donation to the 2022 Pacific Mini Games,” Babuata said. “Your sponsorship will go a long way,” he added.

Triple J’s sponsorship includes the use of hotels rooms and two cars. Some of the visiting athletes will be accommodated  at Triple J’s Surf Rider Hotel.

Babauta said the games are expected to bring in thousands of visitors — athletes, team officials/coaches and media members — from the South Pacific.

“Triple J has been a part of the community for many years and it is part of our philosophy to give back to the community,” Triple J President & COO Jeff Jones said.

“So we are just happy to be able to do this and support the mini games. We are just thankful to contribute and be part of this program,” he added.

The CNMI will host the 2022 Pacific Mini Games from June 17 to 25.
