I’M sure many people that put their money in Bank of Saipan were not aware of the FDIC. The plaque or sign with Federal Depositors Insurance Corp. should be the first thing anyone putting money into a financial institution should look for before depositing their hard earned money.
The federal government will insure your money up to $100,000 at no expense to depositors. So in the future for those of you who are in disarray over the closure of Bank of Saipan, look for the FDIC before you leap and put your money in any financial institution.
