I TRIED to contact the Veterans Office to find out what kind of preparation was scheduled for the upcoming Veterans Memorial Day. I didn’t want to believe the information I got, but I was told that the Veterans Affairs Office didn’t have a director yet to run the office. The new administration has been in office for a few months already but this office is not yet ready to serve the veterans.
It hurts me to see this kind of treatment given to the veterans. I hear our leaders always say that the veterans deserve honor and respect. Is this honor and respect we give them?
Veterans Memorial Day is near. I guess we will have to celebrate this day our own way.
