I WOULD like to draw your attention to a Palau Horizon article about Prior Service on your June 4 edition.
First of all, as of this date, the U.S. Department of the Interior has offered to provide $250,000 to the Prior Service Trust Fund. Details on the offer must be worked out.
Secondly, the $250,000 is not specially a Palau grant as stated in the article but would assist beneficiaries in the CNMI, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia as well as Palau.JEROLD F. FACEY
