Improved immigration status?
I will reiterate once more, every foreign guest worker that set foot in our homeland has his or her status improved! Otherwise none of you would have lived here 10, 15, 20 or 27 years. Now is that hard to understand or do I have to speak in my native tongue?
If any of you believe that you have been here legally then I do not see what the problem is with going through the administrative process of the U.S. Immigration Naturalization Services — unless all of you consider the U.S. Immigration system to be unfair, unjust, inhumane, slave driving or mean-spirited.
For 30 years we have had control of own internal affairs in our homeland, and only because we the locals, U.S. citizens, have a unique political union with the United States. We co-existed in harmony for many years but today your disrespect and demands are beyond reason.
Most of you have benefited tremendously at every angle beyond imagination in our community starting from supplanting local jobs, getting housing, free meals, health care, education, public safety, judicial services and other public services, including turning our two-bedroom homes into 10 rooms in order to accommodate your families and friends.
The other sad thing is after you are done with our houses, you leave us with your trash and destroyed homes.
Do any of you know how much remittance went out of our homeland last year or the year before that? $100 million. Peanuts huh? Still you are not satisfied.
Some of you are seen at poker arcades with new cars, cellular phones, health insurance coverage and yearly vacation trips back and forth to your homeland paid for by your struggling employer. Still you are not satisfied.
Seriously, get real people! Stand in line and go through the process just like everyone else and please stop the vigils, letters and petitions that use your own children as your frontline.
The passage of the federalization bill, S.2739, is not an act of GOD but an act of U.S. Congress.
As for Rep. Christina Sablan —over 100 days in office and nothing to show for other than an animal cruelty bill, a long-term resident guest worker bill, plus constant rebuttals of bills introduced in our legislative branch by her colleagues. I guess this is her transparency platform.
TAOTAO TANO says NO WAY!
This will be Representative Sablan’s first and final term in office for she does not represent her constituents and they want their votes back.
Remember my fellow local indigenous people of the land, she was from Precinct 3, who jumped to Precinct 1 last minute and overnight thanks to Uncle Greg at the election commission who guided her through such a cover-up ending in a technicality battle ignored by the Attorney General’s Office and its investigative unit. Talk about honesty and integrity.
Yes keep an eye, because TAOTAO TANO is watching like a HAWK, ensuring that my people are no longer treated with such disrespect in my homeland.
Again, NO WAY to Tina Sablan and Pete A. Tenorio.
Washington Rep. Pete A. Tenorio admitted that there was no other way to get help from the federal government unless he gave up our right to self-governing control over our immigration. “The non-voting delegate could not make it in U.S. Congress as a stand-alone bill.” So Pete A. Tenorio stood alone, threw in the towel and gave up from his own creation of the past and on his own free will without a general consensus from his constituents. I wonder how much per diem our illustrious Washington rep. and his staff are going to collect for attending the SOCA, (STATE OF CHAOS ADDRESS) to and from Washington.
