AS the coordinator of our Family Literacy Program for Dandan Elementary School, I would like to update you with the current status of the program. Because we need to register at least 10 participants, we cannot start our Family Literary Program due to having only six individuals who can qualify for financial assistance and are officially registered.
Parents, we want to continue encouraging all non-high school individuals to come or contact our office on how to enroll in this wonderful program, as well as to see if you can qualify for financial assistance to assist you for your baby-sitting services.
We also strongly believe that your child’s education starts at home and you can assist to make a difference in your child’s future life. So please assist us by passing information to other parents, friends or neighbors regarding our Family Literacy Program so we can begin.
We will try to start the program by this summer. Some students will also be participating in the summer program.
Again, if you are interested please call me or Mr. Barcinas at 664-5025 or 5026 so we can provide our assistance.
As President Bush mentioned, “No Child Left Behind” Family Literacy Program will surely assist you so you can also provide educational assistance to your children.
We appreciate your willingness in trying to participate in the program. Again please see us if you can qualify for financial aid or other assistance.
Si yu’us ma’ase and have a wonderful summer.ANDIE DELA CRUZ
