Friends of Joeten-Kiyu Public Library sponsored community contests:
1st Annual “I Love the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library” and “I Love the Bookmobile” Writing Contest. We encourage students from our CNMI elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools to submit an original piece of writing based on the topic: “I Love the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library.” Top prizes of $50 will be awarded in each of three school categories: Elementary (1st grade-5th grade); Middle School (6th grade-8th grade), High School (9th grade- 12th grade).
Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Program Photo/Video Contest:
Take a picture or video of yourself doing either of the following activities: reading, visiting the library, attending a library program, working on your Summer Reading Package to Go, with your library card, or doing an activity which involves the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library.
