THE Zoning Board will convene next Thursday to discuss, among other items, the job vacancy for zoning administrator, Board Chairman Henry S. Hofschneider said Thursday.
In an interview, Hofschneider said the board will meet on Nov. 6, 2025, to decide on advertising the position previously held by Therese Ogumoro, whose contract expired on Sept. 30, 2025. Ogumoro had held the job under previous administrations.
The chairman said that during the board’s special meeting in late September, members decided not to extend Ogumoro’s contract and appointed Enforcement Officer Yubert Alepuyo as acting administrator.
After the end of fiscal year 2025, Hofschneider said, the board met three times to address the zoning administrator vacancy but could not reach a quorum. The Nov. 6 meeting’s first agenda item will be the advertisement of the job vacancy, he added.
