Guam-CNMI Visa Waiver Program goes electronic

HAGÅTÑA (CBP) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands announces that the CBP Form I-94 and CBP Form I-736, commonly known as the Guam-Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands Visa Waiver Information, are now available electronically.

Eligible travelers under the Guam-CNMI Visa Waiver Program and certain countries will have the choice to complete the electronic Form I-736 in lieu of the paper form. If a traveler chooses to complete Form I-736 electronically, the traveler will still be required to print out and sign the form. All arriving Guam-CNMI visa waiver travelers must be in possession of a completed and signed standard CBP Form I-736 or its electronic equivalent. The electronic I-736 is available at

Eligible travelers under the Guam-CNMI Visa Waiver Program who are in possession of an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization or ESTA or are in possession of a valid U.S. visa are not required to complete Form I-736.

If travelers need the information from their I-94 admission record to verify immigration status or employment authorization, the record number and other admission information they are encouraged to get their I-94 Number. Electronic I-94 records can be retrieved at
