When the Commonwealth Cancer Association formed after the departure of American Relay for Life, former Publisher Laila Boyer was on the first team of volunteers for its main fundraiser, the Marianas March Against Cancer.
Marianas Variety served as major and title sponsors since its inception, donating advertising, print materials and steady news coverage for this important community event, helping to raise thousands of dollars for CCA’s programs and activities in the fight against cancer.
