NICK Sablan is now among the elite players of the Saipan Golf Association after winning its July Ace of the Month tournament on Aug. 29, 2021 at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
Fifteen golfers vied for the title and it was Sablan who took the top spot with a net score of 71.
In the side events, Tony Benavente bagged the Closest to the Pin awards for holes #3 and #13 while Alex Tudela was supreme on hole #7. He also won the Longest Drive Award on hole # 2.
The SGA Ace of the Month Tournament for August was held on Sept. 19 while the September tourney will be held on Sept. 26 with a show time of 9 a.m. and a tee time of 9:30 a.m.
SGA’s other 2021 Aces of the Month are Das Krishnan (January), Joe I. Sablan (February), Frances M. Sablan (March), Rick Kautz (April), Tony Benavente (May), and Ed Manibusan (June).
