BAT & Boujee added another win to the books after triumphing over the 89ers, 10–2, in a women’s division game of the 2025 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association League at the Dandan softball field on Sunday.
The game began with both teams showcasing their defensive capabilities, denying each other scoring opportunities and remaining scoreless through the first two innings.
The real action began in the third.
In the top half, the 89ers started to build momentum as they quickly filled the bases — but were denied once again. Bat & Boujee, on the other hand, broke the silence thanks to Janica Iguel’s flyout that was not caught and turned into a single, bringing in Kina Rangamar to take a 1–0 lead.
After a scoreless fourth inning, the 89ers were finally rewarded for their efforts with an RBI single by D. Sablan. However, Bat & Boujee quickly returned fire with an RBI single from Virly Secharmidal, followed by a steal to home plate to maintain the lead, 3–1.
While the 89ers were silenced once more, Bat & Boujee carried the momentum into the bottom of the sixth with a sudden seven-run rally — highlighted by Heather Kladikm’s three-RBI triple and Allana Sumang’s two-RBI triple — to stretch the lead to 10–1.
Although the 89ers had one last chance to stay alive, they managed just a single run before Bat & Boujee secured the final three outs to seal the deal, 10–2.
Also victorious were the 670 Magas Babes, who outlasted the Batties, 2–0, and the Dirty Diamonds, who routed the Bat Pitches, 13–1.
