Ezekiel Camacho, Johoah Santos top PeeWee classes

IN the PeeWee 1 and 2 classes of the Marianas Racing Association 2021 Points Race Series, Ezekiel Camacho and Jonoah Santos were the best of the best.

Camacho had to watch his back during the entire seven-round series, but thanks to his tenacity, he managed to secure the overall top spot in the PeeWee 1 Class.

Camacho bagged 47 points in round one before kicking it up a notch in round two with a 50-point performance.

He could only score 22 in the next round, but he recovered in the remaining four rounds to score 44, 44, 47 and 44  and secure the championship with a total of 298 points.

Camacho received the Red Plate trophy and $250 cash prize.

Taking second place in the PeeWee 1 Class was Conan Iakopo. He missed the first round but had a stellar performance in the next four rounds with 50-point finishes to amass a total of 279 points which earned him a  trophy and $150.

Just nine points behind is  Zane Fujihira who finished third and took home a $100 cash prize.

In the PeeWee 2 Class, Jonoah Santos won the championship  by a comfortable margin. He was nearly unbeatable as he raced through the first six rounds with perfect 50’s. It was only in the final round when his streak was broken by Conan Iakopo. Camacho could only score 38 points, but he was still ahead in the final standings with 338 points which gave him the Red Plate trophy and $250 cash.

In second place was Keenon Togawa with 286 points. He took home  a trophy and $150 cash while TJ Ferrer, who came in third with 240 points, received a trophy and $100.
