2021 Islandwide Men’s Bud Light Basketball League kicks off on Tinian

THE 2021 Islandwide Men’s Bud Light Basketball League on Friday held its opening ceremony that was followed by two games.

Sponsored by Marpac, the event was hosted by Tinian  Mayor Edwin Aldan, Sen. Frank Cruz, Rep. Patrick San Nicolas, other island officials and Project Trauma Advised Student Advocacy president Jose P. Kiyoshi.

Eight teams are vying for the championship: Power Builders, SMA Flyers, RNV, Devil Dog Warriors, Ko’Bees, Team Rampage, KAKS and CNMI.

On Friday, the SMA Flyers outscored the Power Builders 62-59 while the Devil Dog Warriors defeated RNV 39-33.
