12 convicts apply for parole

THE CNMI Board of Parole will hold a parole hearing at the Vicente T. Seman Department of Corrections facility on July 13-16 to decide whether to grant or deny the parole application of 12 convicted individuals who are all currently serving time.

The following inmates applied for parole:

1) Huang Rui Jun (“ice” trafficking)

2) Liao Guofeng (“ice” trafficking)

3) Xiao Ping Wang (“ice” trafficking)

4) Benjamin Lee (burglary)

5) Ronnie San Nicolas (“ice” trafficking)

6) Felisha Ann Basa (arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault and battery, robbery, and kidnapping)

7) Julian Sablan (burglary, theft)

8) Paul Anthony Lizama (“ice” trafficking)

9) Benigno Sablan (felony possession of a controlled substance)

10) Juan Tydingco (repeat offender; arrested for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, speeding, and reckless driving)

11) Artemia Gabayero (robbery)

12) Daniel M. Quitugua (repeat offender; impersonating a police officer, theft)

Clemency hearing

The Board of Parole will also hold a clemency hearing for Price Shoiter (sexual abuse of a minor) on July 16 at 9 a.m. at Corrections, and a pardon hearing for Isidro Reyes Lizama (“ice” trafficking) on the same day at 1 p.m. in the Board of Parole conference room on Capital Hill.
