Thunder Darts, Ridin’ Darrty lead SEDA Dart League’s A Division

THE 6JMS Thunder Darts and Jonny’s Ridin’ Darrty are sharing the lead in the A Division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light Dart League after defeating their respective opponents at 6JMS Sports Bar on Monday.

Both teams now hold a record of 12 wins and five losses.

The 6JMS Thunder Darts had a rough start but stepped up when it mattered the most, which was late in the game, to stun Bistro D’ Strikers, 12-5.

D’ Strikers managed to set the tone early as they excelled in the one-on-one matchup with JR Vito, Rey “Totong” Trasporto and Jose “The Power” Orosco claiming three of the four rounds in the opening Singles Regular Cricket match.

They then split the Partners 701 Double In/Double Out match to give their team the lead, 4-2.

However, in the second individual match, the Thunder Darts’ Russ Cruz, June “Viper” Orencia, Bobby “Underdog” De Leon and Gaius “Relaks” Gille triumphed for a 4-0 sweep as their team seized the lead, 6-4.

D’ Strikers tried to stay alive with Orosco and Patrick Rotap splitting the Partners Random Cricket match, but  the Thunder Darts completed another four-win sweep, this time in the Singles 501 Double In/Double Out match and in the final Team 1101 match to take down D’ Strikers 12-5.

Jonny’s Ridin’ Darrty vs 6JMS Drunken Dragon

Jonny’s Ridin’ Darrty overpowered the 6JMS Drunken Dragon 12-5 to share  first place  with the Thunder Darts in the team standings.

Ridin’ Darrty started hot thanks to James “Soul-lit” Benavente, Charlie Peters and KJ “KrazyK” Villagomez who bagged the three rounds of the Singles Regular Cricket match.

The Drunken Dragon fought back with Kenneth Kenashi and Tony “The Tiger” Castro splitting the Partners 701 Double In/Double Out match, but Ridin’ Darrty continued to pull away with a clean sweep in the Singles Half-It to take a comfortable  8-2 lead.

The Drunken Dragon still put up a fight with Kaneshi and Castro snatching two of the four rounds in the Singles 501 Double In/Double Out and the Team 1101 match to soften the blow as Ridin’ Darrty grabbed the win, 12-5.

Tambayan 101 Proofers vs 6JMS Mafia

Also joining the winners’ circle were the Tambayan 101 Proofers who locked up the 6JMS Mafia 11-6.

Teamwork was the key to the 101 Proofers’ victory. After splitting the opening Singles Regular Cricket match with the Mafia, the 101 Proofers gained the upper hand as Rolly Bermiso and Rodrigo “Digoy” Bautista, along with Jun Itaas and Nestor Abing, dominated the Partners 701 Double In/Double Out matches, to take a 4-2 lead.

The Mafia tried to stray close behind with another split in the Singles Half-It match but the 101 Proofers clinched another two-win run, this time in the Partners Crazy Cricket match to stretch the gap 8-4.

After a 3-1 output in the Singles 501 Double In/Double Out match, the 101 Proofers coasted to an 11-6 triumph.
