JULIEANNE Martin was still missing and had not been found as of late Thursday afternoon, according to the Department of Public Safety.
“No new updates at this time,” DPS spokesman Dre Pangelinan said, regarding the missing 45-year-old woman.
As it continues its search, DPS is asking the community for any information regarding the whereabouts of Martin who has gone missing since Sunday.
It was on Tuesday, March 30, at 11:06 a.m., when DPS said it received a call regarding a missing person in Chinatown.
At the scene, the responding officer met with the caller who stated that her mother Julieanne Martin had not been seen at home since Sunday at 4 p.m.
The caller stated that Martin was known to frequent popular beach spots, and so the caller and other family members had been checking those sites since Monday morning.
When the caller asked neighbors if they saw Martin, the neighbors stated that they, too, had not seen her since Sunday.
Martin has mental health issues, Variety learned. She was last seen wearing a t-shirt, a traditional mumu skirt (yellow, black, green) and was holding a blue jacket, DPS said.
“If you or anyone you know has any information on the whereabouts of Julieanne Martin please call 911,” DPS added.
