Twenty-five players vied for the title, but it was Tenorio who took the spotlight with a steady performance throughout 18 holes.

Tenorio had a strong start as he closed the front nine with a gross of 36 and repeated his performance on the back nine with a similar score for a total of 72. Even with a handicap of 5, his net score of 67 was the number to beat.

Tenorio did not have an easy day, however, as Joe “Kamikaze” Camacho was hot on his trail. Camacho scored a gross of 36 on the front nine and 34  on the back nine for a gross total of 70. Unfortunately, his handicap of 3 was not enough to put him on top. With a net score of 67, he ended in a tie with Tenorio.

The scorecard playoff to break the tie gave Tenorio the upper hand and the title of MGA March Ace of the Month.

Taking third place was Jerome “Chow” Sablan. He scored a gross of 49 on the front and back nine for a  total of 98. With a handicap of 29, his net score was 69, good enough for third place.

For the Closest to the Pin side event, JJ Atalig made the list at hole #6; Gerald Guerrero, hole #8; Joe “Kamikaze” Camacho, hole #12; and JJ Atalig, hole #15.
