Originally scheduled for 2019, the tournament was canceled because of the impact of Super Typhoon Yutu and was rescheduled for March 2020. However, it was postponed again because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The NMC Foundation Golf Tournament continues to raise funds that benefit students and their efforts to grow professionally,” said Matthew Deets, general manager of Joeten Motors. “We are proud to be part of this year’s tournament again with our company’s hole-in-one prize contribution.”
“Joeten Motors has consistently been a part of the success of the NMC Foundation Golf Tournament, and we are glad the company is joining us this year as a major sponsor again,” said NMC Interim President Frankie Eliptico. “Joeten Motors’ hole-in-one donation raises the excitement and anticipation of the tournament. We are grateful for their support.”
The NMC Foundation’s 16th Annual Open Golf Tournament will be held on the East Course of the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. Showtime is at 6 a.m., and the shotgun start will be at 7 a.m. The tournament will follow a medal play format.
