Members of a non-profit group, Trevally Hunter Marianas, conducted a cleanup at the Garapan Fishing Base on Saturday, March 20, 2021. According to one of its members, Carlos Visero, every time they fish in the area, they see trash on the beach and even in the lagoon so they decided to adopt the site and to clean it each week. “There’s a flea market here every Saturday, so there’s more trash in the area. We want to keep the beach and the lagoon clean,” Visero added.
