On Feb. 26, 2021, the Refaluwasch Club of Francisco M. Sablan Middle School, comprised of students Manuel Sablan, Macfiel Sos, John Noble, Walder Simram, Jaena Laniyo, Kiomi Taisakan, Maya Rebuenog and Jazel Rebuenog, showcased their musical talents before Board of Education Chairman Andrew L. Orsini, Commissioner of Education Dr. Alfred B. Ada, Associate Commissioner for Administrative Services Eric Magofna, FMS Principal Cherlyn Cabrera-Osung, Vice Principal Carla A. Sablan, and Student Attendance Review Committee Coordinator Robert Coldeen III. The club is an after-school program that is designed to promote the performing arts through the school’s Chamorro Carolinian Language and Heritage Studies. The students’ advisers are Gloria Rasiang and Leiwischem Monica Pua.
