DEPARTMENT of Public Works Secretary James Ada on Thursday said there is already a plan in place to resurface Beach Road from Garapan to San Antonio.
At the same time, he expressed appreciation for the public’s patience as DPW crews perform repair work on the island’s main public roads.

On Thursday, Ada supervised DPW employees who repaired cracked sections of Beach Road near Gold Beach Hotel in Garapan.
“It takes resources to implement road projects,” he said. “At least we have some materials to cover the cracks in this area.”
He added, “We placed an order [for materials] with Hawaiian Rock, and hopefully by today or tomorrow [Friday] we will be able to work on the cracks and depressed road portions in other areas.”
