He played for team Lakay against the Hoopaholics and scored two points in the first quarter. In the second canto, he found his rhythm, sinking a triple along with an and-one play. He continued to rain down threes in the third quarter while adding four more points in the final quarter to propel Lakay to victory over the Hoopaholics 88-71. Cruz scored a total of 18 points.
Cruz also received a Certificate of Appreciation from UFO for supporting the UFO and IT&E Basketball League.
