(Office of the Attorney General, Saipan) — The Office of the Attorney General welcomes Keith Chambers II to the organization as an assistant attorney general in its civil division.

In 2019, Chambers moved to the CNMI to serve as a law clerk to Judge Joseph N. Camacho in Superior Court. As a law clerk, Chambers researched and analyzed statutes and case law and drafted over 30 published orders in response to motions submitted to the court. Prior to his relocation to Saipan, Chambers worked as an attorney advisor to the D.S. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.
“We are delighted that Keith has chosen to join us at the Office of the Attorney General,” says Attorney General Edward Manibusan. “With his most recent swearing in to the CNMI Bar Association in September 2020, Keith has selflessly opted to continue his work serving the CNMI community. Our office is fortunate to have him and we welcome him to the team,” AG Manibusan said.
Chambers interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. in the corporate finance division and was a legal research assistant at the Milken Institute School of Public Health.
“I am very happy to be a part of the Office of the Attorney General team,” says Chambers. “I am looking forward to this new chapter of my life and benefiting the people of the CNMI.”
Chambers earned his juris doctor degree from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. He graduated, summa cum laude, from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida with a bachelor of arts degree in history, international affairs, and social sciences. Chambers is admitted to practice law in the CNMI, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
