Designated Judge Frances M. Tydingco-Gatewood said expert disclosures will be extended from Dec. 15 to Dec. 27, 2010 for NMC.
Fernandez’s rebuttal expert disclosure will be extended from Dec. 22, 2010 to Jan. 10, 2011.
Gatewood said the experts’ discovery earlier set to be completed by Jan. 3, 2011 can now be completed by Jan. 31, 2011.
The court will hear on April 19, 2011 the lawsuits filed against each other by Fernandez and the four NMC regents who voted to fire her.
Fernandez, through her counsel Brien Sers Nicholas, is asking over $300,000 in damages for the termination of her employment contract. The amount does not include attorney’s fees and costs as well as punitive damages.
The NMC regents, through attorney Michael Dotts, are asking $50,000 in damages against Fernandez.
