Lydia M. Caylan, her lawyer Colin M. Thompson, and Glenn A. Jewell, who represents Saipan World Resort, submitted a stipulation for dismissal and order.
In the amended complaint and demand for jury trial filed on Dec. 29, 2009, Caylan sued World Corporation, which is doing business as Saipan World Resort, for age discrimination.
A former housekeeper hired in 2005, Caylan said her contract was not renewed by the hotel in 2008 because of her age.
At the time, she was 48 while her replacement was another female who was in her mid-thirties, the complaint stated.
Saipan World Resort said Caylan failed to state a claim.
