Right from the start of the game The House already grabbed the lead away from the Bloods after team player George Masga heralded a dominating message by collaring 8 points throughout the first quarter alone. His teammate Tony Diaz jumped into the winning band wagon and deposited another 8 points for The House throughout the first quarter of the game.
At the bottom of the first quarter, The House secured the lead tightly by 15 points, 23-8.
That did not dash the hopes of the Bloods and they entered the second quarter with fierce courage. Together they were able to connect 12 points in the ten minutes given to them. Unfortunately, this was not enough to close the gap between themselves and The House.
Together The House deposited another 17 points by half time. Tony Diaz pushed their dominance further by sealing the first half of the game with a downtown shot.
As the second half of the game unfurled, The House stepped it up a notch to secure the lead away from the Bloods.
Center man Bruce Berline collared another 11 points for The House upon entering the third quarter. His teammate Diaz contributed another 8 points to the team breezily.
The House’s Elmer Pineda contributed his six pence to his team to widen the gap to a very safe distance between the two teams, 70-38.
It all came down to the final quarter of the game. The Bloods weren’t only up against The House but also up against time in the last ten minutes of the game.
But it was all over after The House devised an immovable barrier against the Bloods and pushed their offense tactics to its fullest strength. The House was able to breach past the Bloods’ defense line repeatedly pounding them with jump shots and lay ups.
The House was able to connect for 24 more points in the last ten minutes of the game handing the upset to the Bloods, by 36 points, with The House gripping the upper hand of the game with a 94-58 deficit.
