One evening, as I was sitting down on my terrace catching the cool air, I remembered the anniversary of the tragic shooting incident at the former shooting range in our area. In silence I prayed for the victims.
My suggestion to our leaders: Is it possible to have a monument built at the site where the tragic incident occurred?
Maybe one of you could ask permission from the landlord of the shooting range and build the monument at the entrance.
This will allow the family, relatives, friends or people from other places to pay their respect every time the community commemorates the anniversary of this tragedy. Of course, anybody can visit the site to pay their respect on any other day.
My leaders, I do understand the government’s financial situation, but maybe we can make this happen. My brothers and sisters of the commonwealth this is only my suggestion to our lawmakers.
