Yap will receive $420,000. Seven public projects by communities have been chosen by the Yap delegation for funding amounting to $260,000 or $160,000 less than the total amount.
These projects were not submitted through the state for prioritizing but were directly from the communities.
Following this appropriation, the state Infrastructure Planning & Implementation Committee is tasked to assigned several administrative agencies from the state to handle the various projects.
