THE Saipan Mayor’s Office and the Liberation Day Committee would like to inform the public that due to heavy rains and flooding, Thursday evening’s Liberation festivities have been canceled.
The mayor’s office and the committee have taken this step in consideration of the hazards this may pose to festival goers.
“We continue to remain committed to the safety and wellbeing of our residents. Further information regarding the festival schedules will be disseminated to the public pending any further updates.
“We thank you for your understanding.”
