In a notice forwarded to Palau Horizon, the US Embassy did not give details on the reason why it has suspended such services, but said that it will resume non-immigrant visa services on December 14, 2010.
It added that the embassy apologizes for any inconvenience the suspension may cause.
The notice further said that anyone needing to apply for a non-immigrant visa during the temporary suspension period may apply through US Embassy Manila. For more information, you may log on to: http://Manila.USEmbassy.gov/wwwhappo.html.
The US Embassy clarifies that this announcement will not affect American citizen services.
US Embassy Koror will continue normal American citizen service hours, which is 1:00 pm-3:00 pm every Tuesday and 9:00 am-11: am every Thursday, the notice reads.
