Robert Kyoshi Ngual, 25, Palauan, has sustained injuries on his left cheek after he was assaulted by an unidentified suspect while he was inside a bar.
According to police report, at around 2:09 a.m. on Oct. 23, while the victim was at the SLC @PC Bar in Medalaii, Koror, an unknown suspect approached him and cut his face without apparent reason using broken glass. The suspect then left immediately.
The victim meanwhile walked out from the bar and saw a police officer and asked for assistance. Police brought Ngual to the hospital. The case is pending further investigation.
Meanwhile, Sergiou Rabon, 22, Mexican, also sustained injuries on his mouth after he was struck by a man using a baseball bat.
Police identified the suspect as Itelmong Matechiau.
Based on the police report, at around 8:55 a.m. on Oct. 24, a female Palauan called the police and reported a fight at Ngebekuu, Ngerbeched.
Report said Matechiau struck the victim’s mouth with a baseball bat and fled the scene. Rabon sustained cut on his inner lips and lost his teeth.
The motive is still unknown. The case is under police investigation.
