CNMI Military and Veterans Affairs Executive Director Ruth Coleman said expected to attend the ceremony are Gov. Benigno R. Fitial, Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan, legislators, servicemembers, veterans and their families.
This year’s keynote speaker is Ulysses O. Zalamea, the deputy director of the Joint Guam Program Office, who is in charge of the planning and execution of the redeployment of U.S. military forces from Okinawa to Guam.
“We will be hearing messages from other speakers as we honor and thank the veterans for sacrificing for our freedom,” Coleman said.
A flyover by a B52 from Andersen Air Force Base on Guam will be part of the ceremony.
