“I didn’t have an aviation program in my high school; therefore, you all should appreciate the class,” Perry said.
Raulerson and Perry then exchanged contact information.
”Captain Perry was very forthcoming and the students valued the opportunity to converse with him,” Raulerson said.
Raulerson is the head of the math department at Marianas High School and has an ample amount of aviation experience.
This experience is what inspired him to offer an aviation course to students interested in learning about planes.
Although the program consists of lessons and tests, it is not a graded course and is only offered as an enrichment class and is not part of the regular school curriculum.
