More sponsors needed for Autism Society’s ‘Quiz Night’

The Quiz Night is a four-hour event in which competitors will answer trivia questions covering different categories including sports, current events, music, entertainment, movies, math and other subjects.

Quiz Night is just one of the fundraising efforts of the Autism Society of the CNMI which also holds silent auctions, car washes, and yard sales.

During Quiz Night, there will be silent auctions for various items, as well as entertaining performances and raffle draws.

Autism Society of the CNMI secretary Larrisa Larson earlier told the Variety that the idea for Quiz Night came from NMC students who volunteered their time to help raise funds for the society.

Quiz Night is open to participants 18 years old and above. Each team must consist of seven players — two will stand by as substitutes.

Larson said if the event pushes through successfully, they may hold it on an annual basis in the future.

The Autism Society of the CNMI has been hosting various other activities to bring families and individuals who are touched with autism, or even individuals who are interested to learn about autism and its related disorders.

More details will be released about the event later as the society finalizes the program. For more information, email [email protected].
