Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Wednesdays
(Commonwealth Cancer Association) — I honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the entire community, and especially all breast cancer survivors and their family members, are invited to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Walks that will be held throughout the month of October, starting this Wednesday, Oct. 6, 4 p.m.-6 p.m., at Oleai Beach.
The first walk on Oct. 6 will be led by the Commonwealth Cancer Association, followed by the First Lady’s Foundation on Oct. 13, the Department of Public Health on Oct. 20, and the mayor of Saipan and Families Fit for Life on Oct. 27. Wear pink for breast cancer awareness.

Pinktober tickets on sale now
(Commonwealth Cancer Association) — Pinktober tickets are available now at the Hard Rock Café and the Commonwealth Cancer Association.
Tickets cost $10, and come with a free drink and a chance to win great prizes. Pinktober is Hard Rock’s signature breast cancer awareness program, celebrated around the world and here in the islands.
On Saipan, Pinktober will be celebrated on Oct. 10 and will feature live musical performances by talented local artists, plus a silent auction, raffle drawing, special pink cocktails, Pinktober apparel and accessories for sale, and more. Proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Commonwealth Cancer Association.
