Marcus Taisakan, organizer of the club, said everyone, regardless of ethnicity, race, gender or age, is welcome to join them.
“What is important is that the applicant must have eight or more years of experience or background in tattooing, and a fond appreciation and understanding of tattooing as an art,” Taisakan said.
The club aims to help tattoo artists further develop their talents and to mingle with other individuals who share their passion.
Taisakan said individuals who would like to have their bodies tattooed can also contact them anytime to avail of very affordable rates but with high quality work.
He said the rates depend on the complexity of the design but are much lower than what regular tattoo artists usually charge.
“We are a club, not a business, and we can offer you quality tattoos anytime,” Taisakan said.
The club meets every week. Its other members are Joe Pangelinan, Philip Eusebio, Vincent Aguon and Tyrone Celis.
