Activities for the past two weeks included celebrity bagging, education booth and cooking demonstration and the Pinktober fundraising mini-concert at the Hard Rock Café on Sunday evening which raised over $1,500 as part of the event’s proceeds.
CCA program manager Tina Sablan earlier urged the whole community to take part in the activities and help spread awareness about breast cancer.
Other activities for the month includes a breast cancer survivor lunch on October 16, educational booth and screening at the Manamko Center on Oct. 18-19, celebrity bagging at Super Fresh Market in Chalan Piao on Oct. 21,and breast cancer awareness walks every Wednesday.
