The Bureau of Public Safety (BPS) identified the victims as Lailane V. Thomas, Juanita C. Martin and Katherina V. Papelerin.
According to police report, Thomas was driving the car with plate number 6786 Koror Toyota Editon white Sedan traveling through Medalaii road in high speed heading towards the Supreme Court direction.
Thomas overtook another car when the vehicle lost its control and crashed into the concrete flower bed of RIC.
Due to strong impact the concrete bed was cracked, while the car window was shattered and was totally damaged.
The driver sustained minor scratch on her face; while the two passengers also sustained injuries in the different part of their bodies.
Martin sustained two inches laceration on her head; while Papelirin had serious injuries on her mouth and lost several of her teeth and lips were swollen.
Cases of driving under influence of liquor and reckless driving are now being prepared against the driver.
The case is pending for further investigation.
