Grand larceny in 2 government offices under police probe

According to report, one video camera and one digital camera of the Hospital were reportedly missing on Sept. 29 while transferring to the new office of Ministry of Health (MOH) Public Health located at the old President’s office in Meyuns.

Employees of the MOH and ex-convicts serving their community service were the ones who transported the stuff to the new building. However, no suspects have been identified.

The two cameras were worth $600. The case is pending for further investigation.

On the same day, at around 10:10 a.m., Sherry Koshiba called and reported to the police that some of the tin roofs of Aimeliik State Office were also found missing.

Police immediately responded and conducted an investigation.

Based on their investigation, the tin roofs of the summer house beside the State’s office were removed. At least six tin roofs were stolen. Each roof is worth $22.

The case is still under investigation.

Meanwhile, Chang Hyun Kai, male, Korean national also reported to the police that an unidentified male entered his apartment at Belvedere in Meyuns on Oct. 8 and took his wallet.

According to victim’s police statement, while they were sleeping together with his family, suspect entered the apartment and carted away his wallet containing $500 and other important documents which were placed on top of the dining table.

Chang added that before the suspect left the area, he woke up and approached the suspect but the latter fled away immediately before the police arrived.

The unknown suspect as described by Chang has a mustache, wearing brown shirt and camouflage shorts.

The case is under investigation.
