During the CACC monthly meeting last week, the committee mentioned Ngarchelong, Ngardmau and Ngchesar States as proposed sites to put up the facilities.

Seith Andres, senior advisor of the Republic of Palau and one of the committee members said aside from restrooms the committee is considering to put up rest houses which enable to people visiting Babeldaob States to come in and relax.

The CACC‘s plan is to utilize left over restroom units from the Micronesian Games which are currently in place at the Palau Community College (PCC). The CAT will install the restrooms in desired location.

The committee is awaiting the approval of the Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC) for the utilization of the facilities before they will install in the selected area.

In Ngarchelong State the restroom is planning to place in Monoliths Stone, while in Ngchesar is near to the proposed rest house site and in Ngardmau is in the Fire sub-station.

Last month the committee visited Babeldaob States and surveyed the area.

Andres said that after the Babeldaob States, the group is planning to visit Peleliu and Angaur States for the future projects of the Civic Action Team. These include the maintenance of the Peleliu war memorials and Angaur World War II cemetery.
