Brandon Talania of Wings Travel snatched the lead right under Docomo’s nose after sinking 8 successful points whilst teammate Tony Diaz bagged 6 points securing the 10 point lead.
Ron Gamboa and Elmer Esdrelon joined forces to yank the lead back by Gamboa collaring 8 points in the second quarter and helping Esdrelon clear the way for 2 successful downtown shots to clock in 6 points for himself.
By the seal of the quarter Docomo Pacific was able to slow Wings Travel down and close the gap to 2 points.
But star player of the night, Talania did not let the Docomos pass them over so instead he speedily scored 11 points all by himself in the third quarter. He then widened the 2 point gap left in the second quarter to 4 points.
Fourth quarter got feisty as Docomo steadily caught Wings Travel at 81 points all with two minutes left into the game and proceeded to over take them.
Robert Guiang of Wings Travel was able to slip past Docomo’s defense and bag in 2 points sending the game into over time with Ron Gamboa given two free throws after being fouled.
Gamboa sinks in both charities and proceeds to win the game. Docomo and Wings Travel were able to enter a second over time round as both teams tide at 105 points all.
It was history for Wings Travel after that as fatigue got the better part of them.
Elmer Esdrelon scored 9 points in the final five minutes of sudden death with Wings Travel scoring only 4 points combined.
